Sessions
Creating a session
Creating a session is rather easy, and with just a few quick clicks (and a long time deciding when to host), you'll be on your way to mastering Tovy! Please scroll down to the bottom of this if sessions if not showing on your sidebar.
Getting started
First navigate yourself to the sidebar, where you shall see a few options.
And like I have done, click on the "Sessions" option. Where you will be greeted with this page
Once you are here, simply click on "View Schedule" to get to this page
Where you are able to view some of the sessions your team are hosting! However you create a new shift, simply press "New Session Type"
Once here, follow the steps below.
Select the name of the session and the game that it will be hosted at (if its not hosted in a game press none.)
Schedule the event at the time and day you want.
Select all the roles that you want to be able to claim it and press create. Head back out to the sessions page and your session will appear on the date you selected.
Claim the session and it will add your name to it.
Possible Issues with setting up
Please note that you need to have sessions turned on in your settings to have sessions show on your side bar. Learn how to enable sessions in settings below.
From your home screen (or whatever page you are on) go to the settings tab.
Click the sessions button so it is enabled and it will appear on the left side of your screen on the side bar.
Is this problem persisting?
If all the above steps are followed and the issue still persist, you may get support through the following channels:
For Tovy Cloud user You may contact a support team member through Tovy Cloud's live chat function.
For self-hosted instance user You may open a forum discussion in our Discord support section and community members will be able to help you.
Please note that staff are not required to provide assistance in the support forum section and therefore, do not ping any staff member. Staff team may choose to help and the community may provide additional assistance. Fret not, we have a great community of members who are willing to help each other.
